We know the famous oval chain ring as Rotor and O,Symetric product.
Both are oval, but shape is different.
RIDEA also different shape of the Oval chain ring.
Follows are explanation of the RIDEA oval chain ring characteristics.
１．When the pedaling, high efficiency power angle range is setting 40deg.
(MAX diameter angle range is 40deg)
So that no need special exercise like to keep pedaling the narrow high
efficiency point.
Rotor chain ring setting this high efficiency range very narrow around
10deg.
RIDEA oval chain ring can strengthen your muscles with normal cycling exercise without special consciousness.
And RIDEA can make powerful riding even if slope run, because of 40deg
wide power range
cannot miss high efficiency point. It also angle adjustment free.
RIDEA chain ring is developed, investigating a most efficiency curve to
transmit power from a foot to crank.
２．A diameter does not take a sudden turn before "Top dead point"
and "Bottom dead point".
Before "Top and Bottom dead point", If chain ring diameter has
sudden turn, it may happen pedaling miss and hurt a knee.
Risk should be minimized during the many times of pedaling.
RIDEA oval chain ring is designed that diameter rate of change is setting
smoothly before "Top and Bottom dead point"
This curve achieve that through "Top and Bottom dead point" quickly
and do not give a damage to your knee.
O,Symetric Chain ring's diameter changing rate of this point is big.
３．Smooth and stable gear change operation
Usually when change to oval chain ring, gear change operation become unstable.
And also easy to come off the chain.

CAMPAGNOLO have several kind of chain ring bolt, if cannot use original
chain ring bolt, you should use
RIDEA chain ring bolt for CAMPAGNOLO.
9. Installation of the chain ring

Install the inner and outer chain ring, a mark position set to just same
angle of the right side crank.
If the chain stopper pin touches the crank arm, please scrape a pin with
a file, to make shorten the pin.

10、Front derailleur(FD) Position adjustment
 |
Chain ring is Oval, so at the maximum position of the chain ring diameter,
Set the gap of FD and chain ring around 1-3mm.

Front derailleur・Angle・Spacer shim
 |
Usually the gap of "FD chain guide plate" and "chain ring"
is around same as front side and back side.
(Some times back side is a little wide)
If the gap of front and back side is big difference, you can use ANGLE
SPACER SHIM to adjust the gap. (4deg)
